Graduate Student Life

Graduate student organizations, departments, or private individuals may reserve the Big Red Barn Graduate & Professional Student Center for many types of events, from small meetings to large conferences, from academic lectures to informal parties. The spacious main portion of the building includes a stunning but cozy mezzanine.

In addition to tables and chairs, a large grass pellet stove creates a warm setting for your events. A sunlit "greenhouse" has additional seating and can be closed off for special functions. Renovations have made the facility handicapped accessible. The Big Red Barn Graduate & Professional Student Center also has a brick patio, barbecue pit, and outdoor tables. Capacity:
The Big Red Barn Graduate & Professional Student Center can accommodate up to 165 people inside with an extra 85 people using the outdoor areas in the spring and summer. The Main space can accommodate up to 115 with the upstairs and the Green House area can accommodate 50 people.
